How your information is used

This page explains what KetNhip collects when you use this website, the demo sites and the chat assistant, why, who it is shared with, and what rights you have. We only collect what we need to answer you and help with your project.

1. Who we are

KetNhip is a website and AI chat assistant studio founded by Kelvin and based in Vietnam. For any privacy question or request, contact us on WhatsApp +84 386 471 121 or Telegram @yuankui666.

2. What we collect

• Contact form: your name, phone/WhatsApp number and what you need — only what you type in.
• Chat: the messages you send, and the details the AI assistant notes from the conversation (name, phone number, what you want, preferred time) when you choose to share them.
• Technical data with each chat: your IP address (to prevent spam and abuse), the page you were on (without anything after the “?”), and message times.
• A random visitor code: the chat creates a random code and stores it in your browser’s local storage so your conversation is still there when you come back. Our server keeps only a hash of it, not linked to any name or account.

Page-view statistics: the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular. It uses no cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not store personal identifiers.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party ad tracking or data brokers, and we never sell data. The assistant will never ask for passwords, one-time codes, card numbers or ID numbers — please don’t send them in the chat.

3. Why we use it (and legal basis)

• To answer your questions, send a quote and get back to you when you leave your number — steps you asked for, before any contract.
• To deliver and support your project if you become a client — to perform our contract with you.
• To keep the service safe and working (spam limits, error checks) — our legitimate interest.
• To improve the assistant’s answers by reviewing conversations — our legitimate interest.

4. Who we share it with

• AI providers (TypeSafe and OpenAI): chat messages are sent to these services to classify questions and write replies, under their own terms.
• Telegram: when you leave a phone number, your name, number and request are sent as an alert to the person handling enquiries so they can reply quickly.
• Our hosting provider, where the website and database run, and Cloudflare, the network in front of the site (protection, speed and cookie-free page-view statistics).
• Google Fonts: the demo sites load fonts from Google’s servers, so Google can see your IP address when you view a demo. The main site serves its fonts from our own server.

These providers may process data outside your country (for example in the United States or Vietnam). We don’t share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

5. Demo sites

The sites under Demos are fictional businesses for you to try the assistant. Demo chats are handled the same way (including the AI providers) but no alerts are sent to anyone. Feel free to use a made-up name and number; demo data may be deleted at any time.

6. Businesses that use the KetNhip assistant

When a business adds the KetNhip assistant to its own website, that business decides how its customers’ data is used, and KetNhip stores and processes it on their behalf. For questions about data on those sites, contact the business directly.

7. How long we keep it

Messages and contact details are kept as long as needed to answer and support you. You can ask us to delete them at any time and we’ll do so within 7 business days. When a client stops using the service, we hand over their data and delete it from our server.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or state privacy laws in the US), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how it’s used, and receive a copy. Just message us on one of the channels in section 1. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

The site runs over HTTPS and the admin area is behind a separate login that only authorized KetNhip staff can access. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep as little data as possible.

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and describe important changes here.
